Meet Abena Bisa, the creative force behind Bisa Bella Design Co. With a deep appreciation for nature and a passion for empowering women, she blends fashion, wellness, and sustainability into every piece she creates. A lifelong vegan and advocate for healthy living, Abena believes in the calming and healing power of plants–not only in her diet, but in her designs. Raised in the fashion-filled streets of the New York City boroughs, she’s proud to carry on a family tradition of crochet, using plant-based and natural materials like cotton and wool fibers to craft unique, sustainable jewelry and accessories.

Abena is more that just an artist; she’s an advocate for mental wellness through, among other things, crochet therapy. As an educator, wellness professional, and Spelman College graduate, she understands the importance of self-care and community. Through her work, she encourages women to embrace their authentic beauty and confidence, knowing they have the power to change the world.
